Venus Viva is a non-surgical skin resurfacing treatment that delivers smoother skin without any downtime.
Performed with The Venus Viva MD Skin Resurfacing device, the treatment improves the appearance of skin imperfections such as scars, stretch marks, rosacea, enlarged pores, wrinkles, uneven skin texture and pigmentation.
The device features a NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) applicator for skin ablation and resurfacing and a DiamondPolar applicator with (Mp) Technology for wrinkle reduction.
The NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) applicator head is covered in tiny pins which deliver heat below the skin’s surface to create tiny micro-dermal wounds.
The body’s natural wound healing process then gradually repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin.
The DiamondPolar applicator uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields to produce uniform heat under the skin’s surface.
This process helps to naturally increase collagen and elastin fibres, resulting in smoother, firmer skin
Why
The treatment is ideal for anyone who wants to reduce signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, without undergoing a CO2 laser treatment which are painful and have a lengthy recovery period.
Unlike CO2 laser treatments, which used to be considered the ‘Gold Standard’ in skin resurfacing, Venus Viva treatments don’t damage the skin’s surface or the skin tissue surrounding the micro-wounds it creates, so the treatment is much more comfortable and the skin heals much faster while still producing visible results.
Procedure
During a Venus Viva skin resurfacing treatment, the treatment provider will gently move the NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) applicator over your targeted skin area.
You will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by little zaps as the treatment provider moves the applicator over the area. After each zap you face will feel very warm.
Your treatment provider may then enhance your treatment by massaging the DiamondPolar applicator over your targeted area. This will feel warm but comfortable.
