The Aesthetic Business Masters Awards are judged by people who know this industry from the inside. Not observers, but practitioners, founders, strategists, and educators who have built businesses, led teams, navigated regulation, and sat across the table from clinic owners working through the same challenges you are. This series introduces you to the people behind the scorecard, so you know exactly who’s reading your submission and what they’ll be looking for.
Meet: Grazina Fechner

Grazina Fechner, known across the industry as Griz, wants every clinic owner to understand that leadership isn’t a title. It’s a communication skill. The way you deliver feedback to a team member, the way you respond to a client complaint, the way you present your vision to your staff on a Monday morning, all of it shapes your business culture in real time. She’s spent 20 years training people in high-pressure roles to communicate with confidence, and her message for clinic owners is simple: the quality of your leadership will never exceed the quality of your communication.
Griz is the Director of Front and Centre Training Solutions, a consultancy specialising in leadership development, communication, public speaking, and behavioural performance. Her clients range from large retail and wholesale healthcare groups to beauty businesses, pharmaceutical companies, and device brands. She is a media-trained presenter and communication expert who regularly appears on Channel 7’s The Morning Show, offering her signature mix of sharp insight and warmth on human interaction and behaviour.

Her own media career includes newsreading, hosting a live midday variety show, and producing her own program, Out and About in Brisy with Grizzy. That broadcast experience shapes the way she trains: with an understanding of presence, pacing, and how to hold an audience’s attention, whether it’s a treatment room of one or a conference hall of 500.
In the aesthetics space, Griz has become a familiar and much-loved presence. She served as MC for the 2025 Aesthetic Business Masters events and has presented at the ASCD Symposium on engaging with diverse patient personality types. Her work in the sector focuses on helping practitioners and clinic owners communicate with more confidence, lead their teams with clarity, and handle high-stakes conversations without defaulting to scripts.
As a judge for the Aesthetic Business Masters Awards, Griz Fechner brings a lens most judges don’t have: communication performance. She understands that the way a business presents itself to clients, staff, and the broader market is a direct reflection of its leadership. Entrants who demonstrate confident, authentic communication across their brand will stand out in her assessment.
